In the process of returning and buy the right chair
I bought the wide and it IS wide. The cushion is not much. You will need to pad it with a thick quilt or other cushion to use it for sleeping.
The frame IS sturdy.
The levers to lock position work well.
It will suit my needs and I feel I paid a decent price.
Shipping was fast.
The chair was well packaged.
This is a sturdy and well made chair. It is relatively big and wide. (Made to hold up to 300 pounds.) But if you are over weight you still find the width of it a little confining. I am about 250 lbs and I wanted a wide and sturdy chair. Two inches wider would have made it perfect. Pad it comes with is pretty thick and comfortable. I would say its a good value for the price. Can be a little stiff to fold when its brand new. My feet go past the bar for your feet so I added extra padding (Bubble wrap) for my legs to rest on when I am reclining all the way. It comes fully assembled. locks firmly under each arm rest for any position.
I had back surgery and had complications. I couldn't lay flat on my back or stomach, only a short time on my sides. I did have to place a strap in the front to help me sit up but I was able to sleep the whole night without pain. I also had to tighten two screws. Other than that, I was able to rest.
While I am taller than is best for this chair, I need the capacity and expect with that to have durability. The back sits more upright than most and I like that., while reclining pretty low as the better ones do. It pushes into the reclining position easier than any other zero-gravity chair that I have owned or used. The locking mechanism is the most convenient, is more comfortable with the longer lever, and seems to lock into a more stable position than other chairs. It does take a little effort to get both locks fully secure. I had to wiggle a little to get the second lock secured., but once I knew it was easy. The cushion is a nice add, but it is not fabulous. Maybe I will like it better over time. The side table is small but fine for a drink and most phones. Maybe the biggest phones will not go into that rectangular pocket.
Absolutely love the chair, not only that but it arrived earlier than expected.
Still in hospital
My husband loves his new chair and it is a godsend for him…especially the “lift” feature.
Easy to assemble. Very hard not soft like my old one. I do like the lift part of the chair but I wish I could get it in a rocker liftchair
Somewhat small for me I am 6 feet 215 pound
I love the chair, I wish someone could have let me know that it would be shipped by two different carriers and delivered on separate days. Wrote to seller and never got an answer back of where the bottom of my chair was. I am only 5' tall, so I have to manually scoot back in the chair after it is reclined. The description of the chair states that the seat is 20.5" wide, this is deceiving because if you measure the seat width between the cup holders it may be 20.5" but back past the cup holders where your butt sits is only 17" wide. Still, I am happy with purchase.
I give this 3 stars because the customer service is absolutely terrible. The chair was finally delivered to my mom. She loves it 😁😁 The chair is very beautiful and comes fully loaded with everything a person could want. My mom is very satisfied and comfortable.
I purchased this chair for my father’s 85th birthday. The chair was damaged. The motor wires were cut. The company sent me a new motor. It took 3 weeks and I had to pay someone to install it. Besides that my father says the chair is very comfortable.
The chair is comfortable but the left side of the chair back is weak and does not support evenly with the right side of the chair back. I tried to call the company, but the mailbox was full. I put the chair together as instructed, but it appears that one of the support bars on the left side is different underneath than the other bar. Overall the comfort is fine and the material is good quality.
Chair came in two separate boxes which is understandable as it is far easier to ship via UPS.
